We were happy to announce completion of the cloister earlier this year.

This was a very exciting bespoke design and build project for many reasons. Its unique design and a one-off build process was one of the main reasons that we wanted to be involved. Also its prominent location within the school’s courtyard was another point of interest.

The individually-built piers and arches are a fantastic display and although they took longer than anticipated to build, the outcome is something truly spectacular. Their presence within the courtyard is powerful and a perfect demonstration of our ethos, to deliver a project the only way we know how; the right way.

The walkways have remarkable skylights to keep the spaces light and airy, whilst underfoot we have laid paviour and granite edgings to complete the look.

This abuts the rear of the court yard which is a part of the second phase. Click to view more information about our Resin Bound project.

Because of its central location, site access was something that was very important with the Cloister project. The site compound was situated within the centre of the Cloister and was dismantled and taken away on completion. Site fencing and security was also another element that was revised regularly.

We are extremely delighted with the finish at the Cloisters. We have received a great deal of positive comments and feedback. As always we grateful to the help of all parties involved.
