We collaborated with New Hall School to design and construct a bespoke new cloister walkway. This project required careful planning and execution to achieve a high-end finish while working within the heart of an operational school environment.
Scope of Works
- Site preparation and civil works
- Sub and superstructure construction
- Coordination with Building Control from start to completion
- Construction of bespoke cloister arches and walkways
- Installation of skylights for natural lighting
- Laying of paviours and granite edgings to complement the courtyard aesthetics
Outcome
A team of over 30 engineers successfully delivered this project, covering all general building trades. This also included foundation work, brickwork, mechanical installations, plastering, and flooring. The finished cloisters project has become a striking and functional addition to the school grounds. The combination of skylights, elegant walkways, and high-spec finishes has received overwhelmingly positive feedback. This project stands as a testament to our expertise in bespoke heritage work.
