Our team undertook an extensive restoration of a property severely damaged by fire and water, which also affected the neighboring house. The project involved structural repairs, safety enhancements, and modern upgrades to restore both properties to safe and functional living conditions.
Scope of Works
Structural Repairs: Replaced the entire roof, including soffits, fascias, and guttering; demolished and rebuilt the chimney.
Safety Measures: Installed crash decks on ground and first floors; removed asbestos floor tiles.
Interior Restoration: Replaced floorboards, rebuilt first-floor walls, conducted extensive fire washing, and replastered the entire property.
Upgrades & Installations: Installed a new kitchen, bathroom, heating system, and full electrical rewiring.
Fixtures & Finishes: Replaced all internal frames, doors, skirting, architrave, and flooring (vinyl and carpet).
Neighbouring Property Repairs: Fully re-roofed, replaced fire-damaged rafters and ridge board, repointed the chimney, and updated soffits, fascias, and guttering.
Outcome
This comprehensive project successfully restored both properties, ensuring they are structurally sound, energy-efficient, and modernised for comfortable living.
